Carlos Page was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He traveled extensively before settling in the United States in 1989 to pursue the study of fine art. After an apprenticeship at a metal-works studio in San Francisco CA, Carlos moved to New York City and completed a special honors program at Hunter College.
At Hunter, Carlos focused on contemporary design and sculpture, creating functional and abstract pieces made with steel, concrete and wood. Upon graduation, Carlos continued his travels for both personal enrichment and to participate in fine art shows across the nation. A grand part of his inspiration has always come from the energy of the people and the places that he has encountered. Carlos' work reflects on the balance between the raw power of nature and the sophistication of the human experience.
Over the years Carlos has been recognized at nationally juried arts festivals and design shows.
In 2001, Carlos opened his first sculpture studio in Hoboken, NJ, where he created his work for many years. In 2014, Carlos relocated his studio to the beautiful Sonoran desert region of Arizona, in the town of Cave Creek. In 2024 he completed the construction of the new studio shown below.
